QNA
From ActiveArchives
QNA (http://activearchives.org/wiki/QNA/) is a software module to provide tools to quickly gather and annotate video interviews and present them in the browser as a "hypervideo". A core feature of the project is to support flexible production workflows, and is an example of a "portable archive" where a free software workflow and standards-based technologies (HTML + Javascript + Ogg/WebM) are used to make a self-contained databased/interfaces. This means that the webpage contains the contents of the database so that : (1) offline working is possible, (2) derivative works can be made.
The project has been used for a number of events, including:
- Libre Graphics Meeting (Brussels 2010)
- Collaborative Online Video (Brussels 2008)
